Nano Banana App: Where and How to Use Nano Banana
Every legitimate way to use Nano Banana on your phone or computer, and the fake apps to avoid.
There is no separate Nano Banana app to download. Nano Banana is Google’s image model, and you use it inside other apps: Google’s Gemini app, or a browser studio like this one, which works on any phone, tablet or computer and can be added to your home screen like an app.
Short answer
Use Nano Banana in the Gemini app (Android, iOS and gemini.google.com) or in a browser-based studio such as Nano Banana AI, which needs no download. Google does not publish a standalone Nano Banana app, so be careful with “Nano Banana APK” files and lookalike apps.

Nano Banana login and sign-in
On Nano Banana AI you sign in with Google or with your email address. There is nothing to install, and your images, history and projects are saved to your account, so you can start on a computer and continue on your phone. In the Gemini app you sign in with your Google account.
Is there an official Nano Banana website?
Google’s official home for Nano Banana is the Gemini app at gemini.google.com, plus its developer docs for the API. Nano Banana AI (nanobananai.ai) is an independent studio that uses Google’s models through the API; it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. Many other sites use the Nano Banana name in their domain, so check who runs a site before you pay.
Avoid fake Nano Banana apps
- Google does not publish a standalone “Nano Banana” app; on Android and iOS, the official way is the Gemini app.
- Do not install APK files from download sites. They can carry malware and are never needed.
- Be wary of apps that promise unlimited free Nano Banana Pro. Every image costs the provider money, so free unlimited offers are not real; see Is Nano Banana free?
